Hi there. Nice to meet you!
Here are some answers to common questions we receive from couples:
We take immense pride in offering couples the top of the line cinematography, lighting and audio equipment. Our gear bag is ever changing to keep up with the latest technology to ensure the highest quality video for couples. Our own personal kit includes several Panasonic LUMIX GH6, Panasonic LUMIX GH5, GH4, Olympus PRO lenses, Canon lenses, Aputure 300X, Tascam DR-10 Lav Microphones, Zoom H4N Recorder, Zhiyun-Tech WEEBILL-2 and memory cards and cables to our eye balls!
Any additional videographers we hire or work with has top of the line gear and equipment as well.
Our film style is emotional, stylistic, cinematic and non-intrusive. We encourage couples to organically follow the love and emotion of their wedding day, ignore the cameras, enjoy each moment and have fun! The final films typically follow the natural progression of the day with ceremony vows and (sometimes) speeches mixed in.
We invest heavily into a robust music library. This music is royalty free and allows both us and the couple to avoid any issues with copyright laws. Using commercial music legally can cost upwards of $10,000 USD. Creatively, we don’t recommend selecting music before your wedding is filmed or edited, as it is difficult to match the style and mood of your day with pre-selected music. We work with couples closely to ensure what is selected in their film matches their wedding perfectly.
Both. It depends on a few factors, like the size of your wedding, your package selection, second shooter availability and more. We do my best to always at least have a second person throughout the day, but sometimes that’s not possible. But this never changes the amount of footage captured on your big day or your final film. In fact, the majority of films you see in our portfolio are captured by one videographer/cinematographer
We can travel to any location you need. We frequent a lot of venues in Okotoks, Airdrie, Red Deer, Sylvan Lake, Edmonton, Rocky Mountain House, Fernie, Invermere, and more! An extra travel rate my apply to your location.
Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable initial payment & signed agreement to hold your wedding date. The booking process is a very straight-forward, easy process with digital signatures and credit card payment options.
We believe successful wedding days begin well before your wedding day starts. Our relationships with other vendors is top priority outside of filming & editing your wedding. Before your big day, we personally reach out to each vendor to introduce ourselves and ensure we have all the information we need to collaborate effectively.
